MW3 Discussion | Colour Blind Assist

In MW3 Multiplayer there is an option to enable "colour blind assist" which turns friendly Killstreaks and teammates from green to blue on the minimap and their names above their player also change. The same applies to the enemies as theirs changes from red to orange.

This isn't a massive game changer, it's just a cool thing to do...

But there is one problem...

When the colour blind assist is enabled your teammates are blue and your PARTY MEMBERS ARE DARK BLUE.
When the colour blind assist is disabled your teammates are green and your PARTY MEMBERS ARE YELLOW

I think this is pretty stupid, don't you?

Wouldn't it make more sense to have it like this:

colour blind assist is enabled: team = blue
enemy = orange
party = yellow

colour blind assist is disabled (standard): team = green
enemy = red
party = blue

If you want to try this out follow these steps:

1. Turn on your console or PC
2. Load Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
3. Select Multiplayer from the main menu
4. Go into matchmaking (Xbox live, Playstation Network)
5. Select find match
6. Once in a lobby wait for game to start
7. Once game begins bring up the menu and go to options
8. Select enable colour blind assist at the bottom of the list
