Warzone Minor updates needed in warzone

It's getting old with people dropping out and by the 2nd circle you are a 1 man team. There should be a penalty for leaving a game while your team still can bring you back. Maybe no xp given and a penalty to start another game like apex does.

Also just like apex does... you should have a run-it-back feature... you finally find a team of randoms that have mics. The game is done and it's hard to look into recent players and find your last squad. Add a run-it-back feature.

Thoughts????

These penalties already exist. If you leave the match and your team went to ...let's say, the top 5 people left in the final ring. Guess who lost? The guy that left too early. That person lost possible XP, lost already gained XP, his cash, etc.

As for a major update, it's coming. Season ends in about 9 days from now. Teases point to a major live event (like Fortnite). Already people are picking up clues in the bunkers.

This isn't enough though. Because by leaving early they are handicapping their teammates and preventing them from enjoying their own game. So yes on the off chance his team goes on to do something productive like finish top 10 or win, he's missed out on that XP. But what about the other 90% of the time where his team accomplishes nothing because now they're playing down a man and they get wiped by the next squad they see?

There absolutely should be a penalty for quitting a game before your team has officially lost. A wait time that increases with each successive quit in a season should do it. You get say 3 free quits in a season and then after that each quit will cost you a 15 minute suspension. Keep doing it and you'll wind up having to take hours off because you keep abandoning teammates.

I would appreciate this being added as well. I usually just play with 1-2 good buddies and if it's 2 of us we wind up playing >50% of our games as a duo either because we didn't get a fill or because the rando we got was an idiot with no mic and just solo hot dropped and died within 3 minutes. On the off chance we do get a rando that has a mic, it's even rarer that he's also competent and knows how to use proper comms. It'd be nice to quickly rejoin with this same squad after we lose in the top 10.

Along that same note, I have some MAJOR fixes I'd like to see implemented.

1. Remove the "infinitely deploying" parachute. The idea that you can cut and re-deploy your parachute 6 times to ACCURATELY fire a pistol while dropping at near terminal velocity from the sky is asisine. At most you should get 1 re-deploy from a reserve chute. So if you want to waste this to shoot at someone in the sky go for it. Or you can save it for later and it would allow you to parachute off one rooftop to quickly reposition or cover terrain.

2. Sadly, #1 isn't even the most broken game mechanic. How on earth they came to the decision that players take ZERO damage while jumping out of a moving vehicle is absolutely hysterical. So you mean to tell me I can DIE when jumping 30 feet off a building, but I can jump out of a vehicle going >60mph with ZERO resulting injury? All this does is make vehicles more overpowered. You should be forced to take several seconds to brake and come to a stop before exiting to return fire, or if the car lights on fire and is about to explode. You can't just bail out like it's a helicopter. Laughable.

3. Melee attacks are way too powerful. Does it honestly make any sense that it can take 4 shots from a .50cal pistol to kill someone, but you can accomplish the same with 2-3 melee attacks? Since when are fists more powerful than bullets? The HDR/AX-50 need 3 chest shots to kill someone, but you can do the same with a pistol whip? LOL. 9 shots to kill with an M4 - why waste your time when a fist can do the same in 1/3 of the effort? The only time a melee attack should be that lethal is if you sneak up behind someone and administer a "knockout" punch to the head of an unsuspecting foe. Punching somebody from the front in their chest armor plates 3 times is NOT going to kill them.

4. Rockets and other explosives like C4 need a huge nerf to their "ADS" time. The point of both of these weapons is to kill vehicles and clear rooms of campers. But instead you get guys using them as CQC weapons when their gunskill fails. If you are in a CQC fight and using an SMG, you should NOT be able to reach into your backback, find and pull out C4, throw it, and then detonate it in under 1 second. It should take 5+ seconds to pull out and toss a C4, and you should be forced to use the actual detonator instead of double-tapping to "insta-detonate". Slowing down the use of C4 this much would deter most usage of it in CQC combat, which it shouldn't be used for anyway. And the same goes for RPGs. You should not be able to switch from a sniper to an RPG and fire it in under 2 seconds. Slow down the "equip and ADS" time to again 5+ seconds, that way it isn't feasible to use in CQC situations. Both of these nerfs would put these weapons back into the appropriate usage, where you are taking out an approaching vehicle or clearing a room of campers that haven't moved in 2 minutes.

5. Do not post the first circle before players have landed on the ground. This removes a huge portion of the game which is managing ever-changing cicumstances. If you can see the circle is over Farm/Prison/Port from the plane, why would you ever jump to Dam or Military? It effectively erases half the map from being used, and it doesn't force players to adapt to anything. If instead you let players jump WHEREVER they want from the plane, start looting for 2 minutes, THEN tell them where the circle is, it would make those players who jumped the wrong way have to scramble to get where they need to go. If the point is to congregate players in the area of the circle and prevent them from "mis-jumping", then you might as well post the final circle from the plane and just let players drop to that. The point of a BR game is to parachute, find loot, and then find your way to the circle while killing others you come across. The point is not to parachute into the circle, then spend 5 minutes looting and the next 25 holed up in a building while you wait for the circle to close.

6. Remove the parachuting part from the pre-game warmup. The point of warmup is to...warm up...so you drop near other players and use the guns you drop with. But when 150 players are dropping in a tiny area, you are going to die. And that means spending another 10 seconds dropping from the plane. So there are situations where I find myself spending half the warmup time or more practicing my parachuting instead of...warming up. Just spawn players on the ground like MP and let them go to town with the weapons on each other.

I'm sure there are others but that's all I can think of at the moment.
